Datatag system contains unique electronic transponders, 4 of these are buried inside the bodywork of the unit as it is consructed, Datadots (up to 1000 of these) are spread over and around the unit, these are the size of pin heads and are nearly impossible to see without looking extremly carefully and as these are all over the unit it only need to have one left on it to identyfy this unit as yours, visable tamper proof ID numbers and unique numbered stencils with special chemical etching fluid. All of which are hidden on or attached to your property, your personal details and that of your property are then registered on Datatag's Secure database,(transferable to new owner if sold) in the unlikely event your property is stolen the Police have the ability to check and cross-referance the database to help establish the true owner and keeper of the stolen property,( the best way to explain theses microchips is to liken them the chips that are now put into pets to allowe them to be moved around Europe). This is a theft deterant and the aim of NCASS it to have all catering units fitted with this system to stop the some what 10 thefts a week of catering trailers, theives will think long and hard about stealing a trailer with the new Datatag system because of the possability of detection. We currently fit this system as standard on all units over the value of £7.500.00 and offer it as an addition to units under this value,we also fit this system to customers exisiting catering units so if you are considering increasing the security of your units then please do not hesitate to contact us, with this system fitted and with our recomendation to NCASS for your insurance purpose, if you take up the offer of insurance for your unit you will receive a 10 per cent discount on the cost of your insurance, in most cases the saving on your insurance will cover the current cost of fitting this system to your unit,(free on new builds over £7,500.00 and approx £150.00 to your exiting unit).
